The History of Eurosa
1979
Established
Nestled in the valley of Brentwood Bay, Eurosa Farms was established in 1979 by Hans and Debbie Bulk. The first rose plants were planted in soil the following November just in time to harvest our first crop of roses for Mother’s day 1980.
1996
The Rebuild
The blizzard of ’96 resulted in the loss of our growing operations. Over the following year, we had to rebuild nearly our entire rose growing operation. We have continued to grow and expand and in response to increased demand for our farm fresh roses.
Today
Still Growing Together
Today Eurosa Farms has 4.3 acres of greenhouses and over 80,000 rose plants. We enjoy providing our customers with the freshest, island grown, roses 365 days a year. We harvest by hand our beautiful roses six days a week- which is 2.3 million roses a year- in order to provide our customers with the freshest possible roses.
